After School Programs-Expanded Learning Program

San Joaquin Elementary Expanded Learning Program is an extension of SJES regular day that seeks to provide a safe, supportive, and structured environment that supports overall health, well-being of our students and enriches their lives.

Our program is a academic enrichment center, that focuses on providing students with academic support and a safe environment in which they are encouraged to fulfill their potential. Students can select from classes such as Arts & Crafts, Music, Dance, Science, Drama, and many more. Every student also receives a nutritional snack provided by Golden Plains Unified School District free of charge.

In addition to providing enrichment activities to our students we maintain a collaborative goal with our site administration and teachers to continue supporting our students academically. We also encourage parent involvement, and input to continue to support families with their efforts to reach their goals.
